Like an oasis! We were hanging out for coffee and I argued that turning off the main road was a waste of time but it was far from that. I’m going to arrange little tours lol! Homely, friendly service, even teenagers were treated with respect. Best apple pie ever (homemade sweet pastry)! Buzzing friendly little village and the Settlement Store across the road is well worth a visit and little spend! ps: “1000 Senior Moments” forgetfully i left my purchase from Settlement Store in the cafe and gratefully they made an effort to find me! Great Cafe!

The service was wierd. It gave the vibe they were stressed but there was only a few people in there. We ordered fish and chips, the chips were good. The fish was very average. The pies were good. Mabye worth sticking to the cabinet food.

Always love popping in when we visit Okaihau. Service is always amazing, Marion is one of the lovely faces of Okaihau. My husband loved his bacon & egg pie and melting moment was delicious. I had the apple pie, hands down the best apple pie ever! Highly recommend 10/10. Great cafe, always delivers, great prices and even better customer service. Thank you!

I buy a coffee when traveling, I have learnt that it's usually not going to be that great. Yesterday I called into Sapphire cafe and asked for a large latte with almond milk. It was fantastic. Rich, smooth and delicious.What a contrast to others.
