Got a coffee from here before boarding a boat to Russel island for the day. Great coffee, they have alternative milks. This spot opens early which is nice. The location is on a side street, some outdoor seating available right outside or a quick walk to the beach.

A fab little cafe in Paihia. The matcha latte here was good. I'm still thinking about the cheese and greens scone which was delicious. Note, the staff seemed understaffed on both occasions we visited and it was a bit of a wait for our drinks, but worth it as they were good - just something to bear in mind if you're in a rush.
Cool interiors and loved the vibe of the place. Loved that all the food was vegetarian!!

Love Third Wheel Coffee such a cute place with amazing food. So good went everyday of our holiday. The granola and compote is amazing can I have the recipe please 🙏🙏
Very popular with Paihia locals and looked like a beautiful community spot. Long black coffee is excellent and so were the cakes we sampled. Can’t recommend it highly enough. Thanks

Great coffee and pastries. Coffee is excellent. Date scones were amazing and muffins good too.
Nice quiet location in laneway. Both shades and sunny on either side of lane. Staff really friendly and helpful.
Definitely a repeat customer.

This was an amazing find! They were so pleasant to visit with. Helped us with grinding some of their coffee bean bags as a gift for our parents in the US who only have drip coffee makers when all we could find were plunger grinds. The coffee might have been the best we have had on the whole island so far and we have covered over half of the North Island. The food was exceptional and all that made the atmosphere wonderful!
