I had a latte and the salmon eggs benny and both were delicious. Staff and owner so friendly and fun to interact with. Lovely atmosphere, feels busy but not overwhelming. Plenty of seating options and clean and tidy. Wonderful location right next to the beach. Cant wait to come back!

Lovely place across the road from beach and motel, great strong coffee and plenty of selection of food made or ready made. Food was hot and so was the coffee

Great setting and staff were attentive!! We had the BBQ Pork Burgers, absolutely delicious!! It was a fairly busy Friday evening but they came out in good time and were devoured, paired with a couple of beers…perfection!!

Have been visiting at least 1 or 2 licensed cafes per day over a week.
This place was one of the last to visit.
Good little spot to hunker down during this extreme weather event but I can imagine it would be awesome on a sunny day.
Friendly staff, good variety on the menu.
I normally go for tap beer but the bottled beer here was good.
Good music, Clean shop and good amount of people coming and going.
Will be back next time we are back this way.

If you're looking for an amazing coffee and eating experience, The Bach Cafe is for you. It's the place the locals hang out at. Recommended to me by Helen at Fresh Choice. Met Patrick, one of the colorful locals, at the cafe. He introduced to Grant, the owner, and the staff. Did meet Tina who was all personality - another reason you'd want to visit. Great music along with the best beach vibe. I had the most artistic flat white i've had in New Zealand! One downside is you can only hear the surf from the cafe as it is a distance from a gorgeous sandy beach.
