Nice Cafe in the Whangarei Town Basin area near the Hundertwasser Art Gallery. They have cooked meals on the menu and plenty of options for Cabinet food also. Great coffees and we're very accomodating putting a few tables together for our group of eight people

Lovely riverside spot with a relaxed vibe and great views.
Coffee was excellent and the food was fresh, well-presented, and tasty.
Friendly service and a perfect place to unwind. Would happily come back.

We went as a big group of 12 people, food was served on a reasonable time. Food was very good and large serving. Would like to come back again next time.

Nice cafe with good views.
It is open and spacious so it had a relaxing and chill vibe.
I had the bagel and salmon. Too much mayonnaise and lettuce (especially).
My Vanilla flat white was tooo sweet and the banoffee cake tasted more like a caramel slice.
Partner liked his food (3 egg omelet with bacon and creamy mushrooms).
I gave 4 because the staff were really nice.

Such a great spot, warm and friendly - lots of smiles and good mornings from the staff. Plenty of options on the menu and some for kids (look inside though), as well as colouring pages and pencils, beautiful display of cabinet food which looked delicious. We ordered hot breakfast off the menu and it came super quick and was tasty, perfectly cooked poached eggs. Would suggest a side of relish instead of tomato sauce though - it really needed something with it but tomato sauce wasn’t it!
