On the road north and looking for somewhere quick to stop for lunch and Chat-GPT suggested Milk & Honey in Kamo. And what a great suggestion it was... super friendly service, a huge variety to choose from including counter and blackboard menu items. So many delicious options it proved a difficult decision. But most importantly, my husband said it was the best ever steak & cheese pie that he has ever eaten! Which is a huge accolade given his many years of experience 😆

Walked into Milk & Honey in Kamo for a breakfast meeting and it delivered across the board.
We had the boardroom space, which gave us a quiet, private environment to actually sit down, think clearly, and handle business without distraction. That alone sets it apart—most cafés can’t offer that level of separation.
Food was clean, well executed, and consistent. No shortcuts—just quality ingredients handled properly.
Service was sharp. Attentive without hovering, and everything came out on time, which matters when you’re there with intent, not just killing time.
Atmosphere is dialled. Calm, grounded, and professional without losing that café feel.
If you need a place to meet, think, or move things forward—this is it.
Kamo’s got a serious asset here.

I used to come weekly with my client as the food/coffee and service was always great, although lately it seems like things have been off. It has been very busy with the wait for food up to 30 minutes and the quality of food has also gone down. I got a BLAT sandwich for $27 that had a piece of avocado the size of my thumb on it. For that price and the wait I would expect a decent amount of avocado.

Lovely little place, great latte, and they accepted my reusable mug. Vegetable fritatta was good👍
Update I went back!
And again fantastic had French toast, if you can handle very sweet and $26 dollars worth 😋 friends had eggs bene
