The entire experience at the Maunu clinic from start to finish was excellent. The reception team were very warm and welcoming, Dr Mattius and Dr Lucas were very careful, informative and enthusiastic. I had a dental exam with Dr Mattius and then a clean and polish with Dr Lucas. Highly recommend. I learnt so much about my dental situation, causes, preventative measures and future treatment. So far the best dental practice and staff in my 9 years living in Northland. Oh and the best prices in Northland too! Definitely worth the 2 hours drive from my rural town.
All the Staff are super nice, friendly, helpful, greet you with a smile and call you by name. Thank you for taking such good care of our Grandson and getting his Dental work all up to date. Staff go above and beyond, to ensure both Patient and Carer's (the Grandparents) are fully informed, happy with the process and comfortable in the Dental Office. Thank you. AAA+++
Usually visiting the dentist is a dreadful experience but at Kowhai Dental it's been anything but. The team in reception, the dental assistants and the dentists themselves are warm and welcoming. I had a series of fillings done today with Minda & Ezra and they made it such a fun time, music pumping & great banter! Would highly recommend.
As someone who has previously trained and worked in the dental and specialist industry (admin and clinical), I can say I was incredibly impressed with my experience at Kowhai Dental yesterday! Communication via email was speedy, helpful and friendly - I was able to get an appointment on my preferred day. It took just under an hour to leave my house, have three x-rays, a check-up, required treatment and then back home again. Reception staff were all smiley and friendly, the assistants and dentist Cindy were all calm, informative and bubbly! I was given a quote (very reasonably priced!) and the option to have my treatment there and then or come back at a suitable time, I in no way felt pressured to do so, but as a busy mum, I was so pleased the option was there! Beautiful purpose built practice with ample parking. All in all a well oiled machine :-). I'm so happy and I'll be sure to sign my family up and recommend on to others!
Excellent. I travel over an hour each way to kowhai dental these last few years because they always have a hygienist available. Too many times the dentists closer to me cancel on me. Wendy is their specialist hygienist and helping me keep my remaining teeth after losing half my mouth to gum disease letting go perfectly healthy teeth. She's fabulous and I now use kowhai as my regular dentist too. Highly recommend them .
