Great experience with a hygiene appointment with Julie. She and other staff were friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. I felt at ease and everything was explained clearly. Julie provided useful advice on cleaning and things to watch out for, including information about my wisdom teeth and a useful discussion of options for removal. The reception staff have been very helpful in exploring options for follow up appointments which accommodate my travel plans.

The team at Kowhai Dental have completely changed the game for me & I am not scared of the dentist anymore. From the moment you walk in, you’re treated like a real person, not just a timeslot in the chair. They explain everything clearly, check in constantly, and genuinely care about how you’re feeling.
For someone who used to get anxious even booking an appointment, that is huge.
The calm environment, the kindness, and the way they talk you through what’s happening has made such a difference. I actually feel relaxed now, and I trust them completely.
If you’ve been putting off going because of nerves, this is your sign. You’re in very safe hands with the Kowhai Dental team.

Kowhai dental is the absolute best dentist I have ever been to… I was literally half an Hour late and he still fit me in, the dentist and his assistant were amazing absolute professionals, I would recommend them to anyone very affordable and highly skilled I had the best experience with absolutely no pain at all.. thank you kowhai dental, I wish I knew my dentist and his assistant names so I could mention there name.

New to Northland and needed a Dentist. Went online and found Kowhai Dental Maunu Rd.
They were the only Dentist I could find that listed the charges online.
Gave them a call and got an early/urgent appointment, there opening hours are great.
Great on-site parking, a major help.
Went to the appointment and greeted warmly from reception.
The treatment then promptly got underway and the x-ray equipment they use is like something out of Star Trek.
X Rays taken and reviewed, into the chair for a filling no second visit required, lots of great pain numbing given and I must say not very painful to receive, tooth drilled, filled and out the door.
Great service, awesome Dentist, and assistant. I highly recommend Kowhai Dental.

This is my 4th visit to Cindy and I cannot recommend her any more highly - she is efficient and does an amazing job but most importantly she is caring, and very aware of my anxiety at visiting the dentist. I find her approach very reassuring, and the way she communicates everything she is doing puts me at ease. It is very much appreciated.
