On a pilgrimage up north. We decided to stop at Junction Cafe & Dairy for a mocha and something to eat. The young lady manning the til today, was very pleasant and professional. The cafe was busy and not too long a wait for my wedges with chilli, cheese, sour cream and bacon. My mocha was nice and hot.

Best burger I have had in such a long time and even better with a homemade patty. Portion size is amazing. Prices are awesome, customer service is on point and just overall highly recommend this place 110 percent. Pies are to die for too!!! Definitely will be going back 😁

This stop over on a long road trip would be ideal. With good parking for Motorhomes. However, I have been in this building over 50 years ago. Nothing has been updated since then. Old and neglected inside and out. Even dead indoor plants that have failed to make it. Probably from neglect 🤔 too. Come on... This is a highway junction, make it inviting. NZ is behind the rest of the world as it is. Northland has nowhere inviting to stop safely with a large vehicle on the rotten highway north of Whangarei. So we were looking forward to having a nice meal at the Junction Cafe. God help the poor truckies!! Accolades to the Chef. What a lovely lady. And her fish and chips were simply the best. Thank you so much. We had coffee too, and I must say it was excellent. Thank you to the young lady at the counter. So not all was bad..... The toilets available to customers were clean and pleasant to use. Another thank you. That certainly makes a nice change.
