We stopped here to grab some quick takeaway pies.. after checking out of our accommodation. And what a little gem this place is. We were pleasantly surprised at all the art & deco inside. Ended up having a 15 min chat with the lovey owner. Most of her cabinet offerings are home made, and delish. Travellers, if you can find those hidden local gems off the main roads, this is one of them. Travel safe & support the locals. Selina & Co

Esoteric eatery with friendly service, interesting decor and lovely homemade ham hock soup. Excellent coffee too.

Wow!! We were traveling through to Kai Iwi Lakes and stopped at this lovely old style themed Cafe. They were so lovely and accommodating. We asked for toasted chicken sandwiches and got to choose additional fillings all for just $4. Mum is dietary intolerant so asked if they had anything for her. They didn't but the lovely lady came back and said she would make a sandwich with chicken, no butter using Vogel Bread. It was full of chicken and only $4. Loved the funky atmosphere with old frames and a jukebox. Thank you to these beautiful people 💕

I had a great experience here a while ago. I met a beautiful batista serving me a few months back, I haven't seen her in a while but she was a sweetheart and I would love to see her again. Something about her made my coffee taste even better.
