Visited today for drinks and food, and we had a fantastic experience! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with friendly service. Our waitress was polite, attentive, and knew the menu well. The garlic prawns and buttermilk chicken were both delicious and full of flavour. The food was great, but the outstanding customer service was the highlight of our visit. Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
Had dinner here for the first time and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were all friendly, patient, and attentive. We ordered three dishes. The raw fish was nice, and I especially enjoyed the soft, chewy bread that came with it, although the fish itself was fairly average. The garden salad was fresh, crisp, and very tasty. The special spaghetti was also excellent. Overall, this place was an unexpected gem. Great food, great service, and good value for money. I’d definitely come back again and would recommend giving it a try!

Popped in on the spare of the moment, and had the most amazing experience. The service was delightfully friendly and the food was top notch! Decided to share little plates and they were all winners! We will definitely be back. Great work team 😊
We recently celebrated an 80th birthday at Dickens Inn, right during the transition from the old owners to the new owners, and we couldn’t have asked for a smoother experience. Both the previous owners and the new owners went above and beyond to make sure our night went perfectly. They were incredibly accommodating and friendly, even stepping in to serve themselves when staff were short. We had a buffet for our event, and they were more than happy to accommodate the changes we wanted. The food was absolutely delicious, with a wonderful range of fresh salads, perfectly cooked vegetables, tender roasts, and beautiful desserts. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the whole night ran seamlessly for an event we’d been planning for a long time. A huge thank you to both the old and new teams — you made the night really special!
