My husband picked up a Grab one deal for a seafood platter at Bright Cafe. It was a great introduction to this cafe as we did not know they were open for dinner. The seafood platter was generous and tasty with scallops, steamed mussels, fish, salt and pepper squid, and the most delicious prawns. This is not part of the standard menu but should be ;). The menu has reasonably priced food and drink. We will be back to try the main menu. The owners were really lovely and the restaurant was quiet, neat and tidy. Tomato juice was good despite coming from a carton. Seafood was fresh, well presented and cooked just right. We got a deal on grabone for $45 which was a fair price to pay. If you come after 5.30pm parking is easy to find on the street.

Purchased a GrabOne voucher and immediately used it upon calling them up to ask if we could use it immediately. Excellent service. Great menu and the food came out super fast. Not to mention the food was amazing! Will definitely be going back.

Bare and cold room. No atmosphere. Dirty tables, and that was first thing in the morning. Generally unkempt.
Man on the till was surly.
Food was just about good enough to not be sent back.
The poor waiter looked like he had slept under a bridge.
Good points? It was open at 7am and the bacon was crispy. 2 stars for that.

We went here because previous reviews had been so positive, but maybe there has been a change of ownership/circumstances since then as we were surprised to see that the cafe looked quite run down and uncared for. Many of the tables were dirty and looked like they hadn't had a good clean in some time.The staff looked unhappy, obviously cold and underdressed in shabby clothing. The food was ok but not great.
